The Region
Explore the Limousin and Dordogne regions. There is plenty to see and do. From Chateau de Chalus-Chabrol - the place of Richard the Lionheart's death, through the porcelain and art museums of Limoges (a UNESCO Creative City) to Oradour sur Glane, the martyr village from World War II. For something a little more adventurous, there is go karting, treetop high ropes and kayaking all within a 15-minute drive of Ribière.

Cycling Tours
If two wheels are your passion - road bike, mountain bike or leisure bike - then there are some wonderful cycling routes to discover. The family-friendly Voie Verte runs for 13km following the former railway line from Chalus to Oradour sur Vayres. Or perhaps the more challenging 152km round trip from Chalus through Rochechouart and Limoges? Routes and maps are readily available online and we can make recommendations.

Prefer to explore on foot? Immediately accessible from Ribière are walking trails that provide various distance and difficulty options. Maps can be provided or followed online but all trails are clearly marked, well maintained and easy to follow. Simply get your trail shoes on, pack a picnic and set off on your adventure.
