For 25 years, Ribière has been renowned across Europe for carp fishing and is now rated in the top 5 big carp waters in France.
We have appeared in numerous magazines, books and videos due to the number of big carp in the lake. You get an exclusive experience fishing from one of only eight pegs on the estate’s 10-hectare lake. There are over 500 fish up to 36kg with between seven to ten fish over 30kg and numerous 25kg plus fish. The scenery is stunning, the facilities first class and the fish are immaculate.
The management of the lake is undertaken by David, who has over 40 years of fishing and lake knowledge, supported by his family for whom Ribière is home.
The Lake
​A mature 10 hectare lake with a range of features including a sunken Roman bridge. Designed with eight pegs fished from the near bank only to ensure everyone has an opportunity to catch the big fish. Depths range from 1.5m to 5m and 180 yards at its widest point. The lake can be baited from either bank or using bait boats. Stream fed, we do not have issues with silt or weed. ​​Nets, slings and landing mats are provided.

How to Book
​You can make reservations all year round. The new book opens on 1st November for three years ahead. Bookings are for a week (Saturday to Saturday) including the food package. We do not offer less days than this or without the food package.
Bookings are made via email and are secured with a 50% deposit which is not refundable nor transferable to another booking. Balance payments are due 8 weeks prior to your trip. Non-anglers and dogs are welcome.

Food
​Our food package is something a little bit special - home cooked food, local ingredients - delivered direct to your swim. Highly rated by our anglers, it includes breakfast and two-course dinner. We can cater for vegetarian, vegan, lactose/gluten-free, halal, etc. Just let us know in advance what your requirements are.

Facilities
​Our facilities are second to none - high quality shower block and toilets, accommodation for the week or an early arrival on Friday, electricity at the peg, freezers for your bait, small tackle shop, meal delivery and airport pick up for guests on request. The facilities sit within a 40 hectare gated site. All pegs have vehicle access for unloading with secure onsite parking for the duration of your stay.​

​We have created a unique atmosphere here at Ribière by focusing on what anglers want and need. We believe this is reflected in the many regulars who come back every year and in the consistently positive feedback we get.

Pricing
We offer lake exclusives for up to eight anglers. This includes your food package (breakfast and two-course dinner served at your swim), accommodation and use of facilities (including our outdoor heated pool May-October).

Individual pegs can be booked and this includes your fishing, use of facilities / showers and food package.

Accommodation
Lake exclusives will be accommodated in our apartment or chalet. WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities are available in the kitchen. Towels and sheets are provided. A private terrace and garden mean you can relax and enjoy the evening sunshine.
Individual anglers can arrive Friday and enjoy a night with dinner, bed and breakfast at a competitive rate.

Bait
We have a great range of bait including MTC boilies and 25kg bags of pellet. All particle must be pre-ordered and purchased from us. A bait list will be supplied to you in plenty of time to place your order before your trip.
